EXCERPT: CHAPTER 10.
“We finished our joyful intimate entanglement and moved on to the bedroom to sleep together. We both woke up later and decided to go to the beach. From where I lived, the nearest beach was on the Accra to Tema Beach Road. There is one very popular and always-crowded beach there called the Titanic Beach in Sakumono town. I do not know who actually gave it that name or if there is any tenuous link to the original Titanic ship that sank in the North Atlantic in the year 1912. My guess is maybe because this beach is next to the Atlantic Ocean.
There are so many countless pubs and beach spots; some have swimming pools, like the Serenity Beach Resort and the Villa Posillipo Beach Resort, and they all come in grades from high to low. We made our way to a safe parking area inside a relatively nice pub called Baby Na Yoka.
It was not crowded, but just enough size of people and decent, with a nice party-like atmosphere and music that was not too loud but just okay. I wore my navy blue khaki shorts with a flowery Panama-style shirt on, and Abena wore her jean bum shorts with a bikini top and a bright orange towel around her neck like a lifejacket. She just looked gorgeous and very attractive, as if she were a supermodel getting ready for a beach photoshoot.
On second thought, I think I could also join in as her male model. Why not? I had the physique and was dressed for the occasion. One can’t go wrong with the Panama-style shirt on, can you? Absolutely not. Period.
EXCERPT: CHAPTER 10 (CONTINUE).
We were able to get a table and two seats with a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean close to the shore. One can see all the way to Tema Harbour, where massive cargo ships are anchored and illuminated by dazzling navigation lights. The numerous coloured lights around the seating areas created a tranquil atmosphere, and the sea breeze was delightful.
I placed a drink order; Abena went with a Pina Colada, while I went with Malibu and Coke on ice. The Baby Na Yoka Pub’s relentless Deejay was playing soulful music that helps us both unwind.”
CONCLUSION
In summary, Titanic Beach is a very picturesque, cultural, and stunning natural beach that is begging to be explored. Tema’s lively marketplaces, beautiful beaches, and rich cultural heritage make it an immersive experience for tourists looking for romance, adventure, and discovery.
